RAUM GROUP AT THE “RUSSIA WAREHOUSES” FORUM: “BTS. HOW TO BUILD FOR OTHERS AS FOR OURSELVES”

On September 19–21, Saint Petersburg has become a point of attraction for leading experts in the area of warehousing and industrial property, developers, logistic operators as well as e-commerce market players, production and transport companies. During the period, Third International Forum “Warehouses of Russia” provided a good opportunity for RAUM Group to share its expert opinion from speaker’s stand. Dmitry Konstantinovich Popov, RAU GC Construction Director, has represented the Company and shared the Build-to-suit project implementation rules. His speech has covered important aspects of planning and management of BTS projects, team building, risks forecasting. Also, the speaker told about own experience of dealing with high-profile client having own values and business philosophy. The next day a visit to the Group’s flagship- RAUM Bugry, was arranged. During the visit, guests called on multi-temperature warehouse leased by anchor client – PRODSTAR. Visitors learned more about capacities and specific features of the terminal and visited the forwarding and storage zones. However, the visitors showed interest not only in operating terminal, but in new facility under construction - production and warehousing complex “Knorr-Bremse-1520.” Dmitry Konstantinovich shared implemented engineering solutions with guests as well as answered their questions with regard to site processes and materials used.
